Answer by realityshowjunkieGreat! I have done acupuncture in conjunction with IVF. I did conceive but because of my diagnosis I lost the pregnancies. But, I know MANY women who have had success with acupuncture! My acupuncturist has a lot of success stories too. Take the herbs if they prescribe them! I notices great changes in myself and I loved it!

Good luck!

anyone tried acupuncture or homeopathy with fertility issues?

Question by britneh: anyone tried acupuncture or homeopathy with fertility issues?
I have had two treatments of acupuncture in my quest for a baby. I have low progestrone and random cycles so this was suggested. The homeopath took a sample of my hair to test and came back to me saying my left ovary functions to 90% capacity and right ovary to only 10% capacity. This has made me sad and not good about my chances. I wish i could leave well alone and leave it up to gods way instead of trying to find answers and solutions because often i end up feeling disappointed and like its never going to happen. Anyone had any experience with homeopathy/acupuncture and can suggest how much i should take on board from them/??? Many thanks x x
And also they said my tummy needs warming up and get more blood flow to it…

Acupuncture to Improve Fertility?

Question by Tucson Kate: Acupuncture to Improve Fertility?
Hello! I just saw a great post from someone who mentioned that they did acupuncture with infertility, and they got pregnant. I am just wondering if anyone else has done this, what their experience was, if they had any pregnancies/births, and recommendations (things I should or should not do).

We have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years, and I have PCOS. I’ve had two pregnancies off Clomid, and two miscarriages. Thanks for your advice!
If I do get PG off acupuncture, it is important to continue it after I get PG?

Answer by M&BI just had my first session of acupuncture, I have been trying for 18 months / more than 20 cycles, with 2 miscarriages on clomid. I’m going back weekly for the next 2 weeks, then to decide how to proceed. I’ve heard such good things about it that I thought it worth a try – I . . . → Read More: Acupuncture to Improve Fertility?

Answer by Dr. KI highly recommend it. I don’t know the actual statistics, but based upon my own experience, it’s approximately 75% effective in getting women pregnant. Somehow, it either relaxes women and lowers their stress or helps regulate their hormones better, making conception easier.

Try A New Approach – Acupuncture and Infertility

Try A New Approach – Acupuncture and Infertility

Acupuncture has long been in existence as did the Chinese civilization. By the use of fine sterile needles pierced to vital pressure points of the body, it eases pain, soreness and offers remedies to ailments. The technique is commonly applied to specific areas of the central nervous system to control blood pressure. Upon administration of the needles, it enables the body to release endorphins to relieve pain and induce a state of euphoria with the help of neurotransmitters and neurohormones supplementing in the process of healing in the body.

Hormonal imbalances resulting to infertility could be treated with the combination of medical procedures and Acupuncture as well. What Does Medical Research Say About Acupuncture and Infertility?

What Does Medical Research Say About Acupuncture and Infertility?

Acupuncture for infertility is probably the most popular and commonly recognized alternative treatment for those trying to get pregnant. The media seems to report on research related to acupuncture and fertility every few months, and more and more fertility clinics offer or recommend acupuncture services along with conventional fertility treatments like IVF and IUI.

Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine, sometimes abbreviated as TCM. Acupuncture involves placing hair-thin needles into particular points on the body. These points, according to the Chinese tradition, run along lines of energy, or meridians. From the TCM perspective, the idea is that an imbalance of these energies in the body can lead to illness, including infertility. Correcting the imbalance by stimulating particular points along the meridians is thought to improve health.

Acupuncture and fertility?

Question by CS: Acupuncture and fertility?
One of my girlfriends and I are having fertility problems. We are both going to a fertility specialist and we have both been diagnosed with PCOS. Hers is a little more complicated than mine. She has done 4 IUI’s and I haven’t done any…just working with glucophage and clomid. Test show nothing is wrong with our husbands. Neither of us have done an IVF either…No luck for either of us so far. We have started thinking about going to see an acupuncturist. If anyone has done this would you please explain the procedure and if it worked or not…How many times did you have to go? Was it completely costly? Just any advice you may have for us would be great! Thank you!

Fertility through Acupuncture

Fertility through Acupuncture

Married couples who’ve been together for three to five years now wonder what might be wrong with them because even without any form of protection they still could not conceive the child they so desire. Thus they undergo check-up with the physicians and they are then informed that they have infertility issues, same as a number of individuals.

The information then sends the pair to various clinics looking for a cure and get rid for good the not-so rare medical condition. Just when they thought they’ve done it all, they’re introduced to the world of acupuncture and fertility. Well, at least that’s the goal: for the couple to be as fertile as possible so they could bear children.

Acupuncture is that specific type of treatment that involves the insertion of very thin needles in certain body parts which are considered as acupuncture points. These points subsequently represent the numerous organs of the human body that when needled react in a fashion . . . → Read More: Fertility through Acupuncture
