So you get a strong ferning pattern then it goes away. I started testing for LH Surge since day 11 using digital OPK and I test for it once a day. Only at the last of my third pack (yes, I tested 21 times), the last stick has a smiley face. That would mean my ovulation was two weeks late. CM was going from clear & liquid, to less, to none, to clear & liquid again throughout the time I was testing, until I got smiley face.
