How To Get Pregnant Using Fertility Signs
Article by Maria Russo
As you probably know, the primary fertility signs all ovulating women produce are basal temperature, cervical and cervical position.
The easiest sign to predict is the basal or working temperature for the reason that it is very graphic and objective. Women charting their temps for a few months find it a fun challenge to predict the day their temp will shift or change.
A woman’s pre-ovulatory waking temperatures range from 97.0 to 97.7. After ovulation, they stay elevated 12 to 16 days later. If she were to become pregnant the elevated temp would remain.
Temperatures typically rise as a result of the heat-inducing hormone progesterone. Progesterone is released by the corpus luteum (the follicle that previously contained the egg before it bursted from the ovary. So the rise in temperature signifies that ovulation has already occurred. When interpreting temps, train yourself to see what is hiding in plain site.
Pre-ovulation temps are suppressed by estrogen . . . → Read More: How To Get Pregnant Using Fertility Signs

Question by AshleyElaine: Fertility Calender?
I just went to try entering in my info on a fertility calendar…well my last period started on april 20 it was due again 15 days ago but hasn’t come yet. all prego tests negative. I do have some light bleeding that started a few hours ago….not sure yet if it is my period….but according to the fertility calender i should be fertil today….but how? i never had my period…unless of course it started today… you can’t ovulate 2 times before your next period can you?
Best answer:
Answer by mommyoIf you haven’t had your period yet, chances are that you have not ovulated. Sometimes a period can be late due to stress or illness. If this is the case then your ovulation was delayed or you had an annovulatory cycle and didn’t ovulate at all. Your period will probably show up at some point so I wouldn’t rely on a fertility calendar . . . → Read More: Fertility Calender?

Question by NYgirl: Could I become pregnant if trying to conceive two days prior to being fertile?
My husband and I are trying to conceive and according to my fertility calendar, I will be fertile tomorrow, tuesday through next sunday or monday, ovulating around this Saturday the 25th. I am aware that sperm can live for about two days so if we ttc yesterday, the 19th, what are the chances that i could become pregnant? Thanks!
Best answer:
Answer by talismanSperm can actually live inside of you for 3-5 days and sometimes as long as 7. If you had sex on the 19th and ovulate on the 25th, the sperm would most likely be dead by then, making them unable to reach the egg.

Ovulation Calendar ? Plan Your Pregnancy
Ovulation occurs when a mature egg is released from the ovary, pushed down to the fallopian tube, and is available to be fertilized and if the eggs do not conceive the uterine lining as well as blood will be shed. Normally only one egg is released each time of ovulation. An ovulation calendar is basically a tool that helps to predict when you ovulate i.e. when a mature egg is released from the ovary and pushed down to fallopian tube and is available to be fertilized. An Ovulation Calculator provides approximate dates for predicting ovulation as there are several variables that can cause cycle irregularities.
Some women can feel a bit of pain or aching near their ovaries during ovulation. Implantation of a fertilized egg normally takes place 6 – 12 days after ovulation. The basic ovulation calendar will ask you for the date of the first day of our last . . . → Read More: Ovulation Calendar ? Plan Your Pregnancy
