Shopping for Fertility?
Article by George Undermeyer
A large number of couples today normally hang on for some years before they choose to have a baby, for reasons like their nascent careers and hoping to relish their own lives just before they ‘settle down’ into child caring. With factors like polluting of the environment increasing, life-style changes with an greater consumption of alcohol, late nights, smoking cigarettes and tension, frantic professions and almost no time for everything else, fertility rates however, are going down, and the bio clock ticking away is not going to help. Fertility medications, hormone enhancers, IVF treatments are what you need, declare fertility clinics.
The resultant stress doesn’t help. The wait can be long and terrifying, lowering the infertile man or woman’s self esteem, sex drive, body image and severely straining a couple’s relationship. The success rate of clinical infertility treatment is about 20% on an average, although this could be related to treating a high number of older . . . → Read More: Shopping for Fertility?

Question by nacho momma: What kind of diet do you suggest when trying to concieve?
I am a little overweight but want to have a baby. I have fertility issues already due to losing an ovary 10 years ago to a nasty cyst. So I only have one ovary and want the best chances of conceiving. I was wondering what is a healthy weight to conceive at and what type of diet modifications you would suggest so that I can start trying to have a baby. I am 100 percent commited to trying anything to get pregnant. Also, anyone else with success stories about conceiving with one ovary?
Best answer:
Answer by Steve BBelieve it or not, my wife and I had a very hard time conceiving. However 2 of our children were conceived after a night of drinking. Our oldest was conceived after too much beer, and our third was conceived after too much tequila. . . . → Read More: What kind of diet do you suggest when trying to concieve?

“During puberty, it acts as the “masculinizing” hormone, creating the distinctive male features of a deeper voice, facial hair, and bulkier muscles. But testosterone is responsible for more than just the development of male characteristics at crucial lifecycle stages. Research has shown that testosterone also influences sexual drive, energy levels, and mood.”

Question by WantToLose: Are there some supplements I might be able to try to help me conceive?
I have been reading a little bit about people who take a vitamin type thing called Geritol Complete (think thats the name of it), Soy (supposedely a natural form of clomid), and baby aspirin? Does anyone know anything about these or maybe something else I can take to make it a little easier. I’ve seen a fertility specialist and so has my husband. There arent any major problems. My husbands fertility is a tad bit low (but i’ve gotten pregnant since then so it must be better?) That ended in m/c and now i’m desperate!

Question by ???? from within: Should I keep or toss this HCG for weight loss?
I am really wanting to loss some weight…like most women.
Someone I know started losing weight so I asked her what she was doing. She showed me a little bottle of HCG and told me what pharmacy she buys it from. I have always been against weight loss supplements and so I just decided not to look into it.
It’s been a few more months and she is still losing weight. She explained to me how it is natural so it doesn’t do any harm etc. I was on my way to buy some but I turned around and decided to research it.
So yes, I actually googled by myself and found out that HCG is that hormone that pregnancy test look for…so it comes from pregnant women. It was used a long time ago to help the gentials develop in children (kinda . . . → Read More: Should I keep or toss this HCG for weight loss?
