Question by : when do you start a ovulation calculator is the first day of light bleeding or heavy bleeding?
trying to get pregnant and need to know if it’s the first day of light bleeding or heavy bleeding for the ovulation calculator. i started on 8-20-11 and the next one is in 38 days. need some help with this one and thank you for the help.

Any bleeding is the start of your period.

as long as their is blood flow – not spotting – you count from that. you’re better of calculating your cycles. i use fertilityfriend.com. it tracks BBT, cm, ur cervix and everything in between. it’ll take 2 cycles to figure it out but at least it won’t be a guessing game. it’s a great tool!
