For example:
Under/overweight–slightly, so it’s not so obvious.
Stress
Hormone in balance.

These things are so common and so ordinary most people don’t even notice how it is effecting their infertility.

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. We’ve been trying now for 6 months. I think I’m going to purchase a ovulation predictor kit this month to help us know which day’s i’m ovulation. I’m just curious for those of you who have used these kits, would you consider them succesful? If so, how long did it take you to conceive after using them? Thanks for your time and help.

I need someone ANYONE to help me PLEASE!!! I am a 21 yr old female, who for as long as I can remember has always had an irregular period, in 2007 I had such a long period (lasted about 3 months) that my gynecologist put me on the nuvaring to regulate my cycle. The nuvaring was effective, and I actually would of stayed on it but I lost my job and the insurance that covered it. From 2007-2008 my cycle remained regular, until this year when all of a sudden it would come on for weeks at a time, it’s currently been on for the past few weeks, it’s very heavy with small clots, i’m very frustrated with this situation because my boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive for the past 10 months and have been unsuccessful due to obvious reasons. Answer by EthelHigh fertility period is the days leading up to ovulation, sex to procreate works best if done for a week before ovulation, sex on the day of ovulation (when an ovum is released) is too late as the ovum only lives for 12-24 hours and sperm take ~24hours to travel from your cervix to the ovum.

We had sex on Monday and last night. Her fertility calendar said she would ovulate on Wed. Her menstrual cycle is like CLOCKWORK. She has not taken any form of birth control in years. She experienced “mittelschmerz” which is a pain from ovulating yesterday. Also, she experienced cervical mucus changes. I am 99% sure she ovulated. I can’t imagine that she didn’t get prego, but this is our first time trying so am I too confident or is it very likely that it worked?
I’m 35, she is 33

9 weeks pregnant… trying not to worry… please read?

So I am 9 weeks pregnant. A little background is that I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in August and got pregnant 2 weeks later. I am so happy and I PROMISE I’m not stressing, but I am still a little worried whenever I think about my little one. And yes there is a difference. ) I’m not freaking out and getting myself all worked up, but I can’t seem to get those, “WHAT IFS” out of my mind.

I know you can have complications at any time during your pregnancy and that most miscarriages happen before 12-14 weeks, but does your risk go down at all when your around 9 weeks?
