Question by Steph: has anyone else had IVF with their first pregnancy then without trying got pregnant for their second?
I had IVF and my daughter is 10+ months old. I am now 2+ months pregnant without trying and am skeptical about the pregnancy because I had such a hard time conceiving the first time. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, did you go on to have a normal pregnancy the second time around?

Answer by LisaIt actually happened to my sister in law. They tried for years to have kids before trying fertility treatments, and when their daughter was 15 months, they ended up conceiving naturally by accident. The pregnancy went fine, and the baby is now a healthy 4 month old little boy. They were thrilled!

First, let me say this is a serious question and I would like serious answers only please, I apologize a head of time, if I give to much detail, I am just trying to explain my q, the best I can. I dont know which day I would consider the first day of my period, on Sept 5th, I got light brown/pink spotting, however I only noticed this when I would wipe. This last 2 days, then on the 7th, I got a regular flow, that turns red, where I tampon was needed. My period is like this every month, I always get the light brown/pink spotting, when I a wipe for 2 days before getting a flow. I have my tubes tied about a year ago, I’m 25. I have a suspicion that they may no longer be so I was wondering if a fertility test might be able to give me some idea.

Question by kiss the rain: My first month of charting! Does it look like pregnancy?
I just started charting. DH and I are planning to TTC in the spring, but we haven’t been doing anything this month to prevent it! We are both healthy and in our early 20′s.
LMP was Oct. 8, cycles are 33-35 days long. According to iVillage Fertility Planner (CM only, no BBT), I ovulated Oct. 26. Today is 13 dpo. Here are my symptoms:
- 4 dpo: BD
- 3 dpo: EWCM
- 2 dpo: EWCM
- 1 dpo: BD. EWCM. cervix high and very soft.
1 – 3 dpo: diarrhea. no cm
4 dpo: cervix high and hard. sticky cm
5 dpo: twinges/crampiness very low, just above my hairline. lots of sticky yellow-ish opaque CM with maybe a tinge of blood?
6 dpo: i suddenly seem to be allergic to the cat today — very itchy eyes and nose
7 dpo: still feeling allergic to cat

I am starting my first round of clomid and I was wondering how many of you took clomid for “unexplained infertility” and conceived the first month using Clomid?

Question by ashmiller97: Has anyone used the clearblue easy fertility monitor, and it never showed ovulation the first month?
This is my first month using the clear blue easy fertility monitor and it is only showing peak fertility not ovulation. Anyone have this happen? Does this mean I’m not ovulating? Will it show it next month?

Answer by Lucky LadyYes, I have one. I used it for the 1st time last month, and it never showed ovulation. It showed high fertility for 14 days. It’s common that this happens the 1st month using it. The monitor has to learn your cycle, and your surge. It should show ovulation next month because it is more familiar with you. In the end, it will be a great investment. Good luck and lots of baby dust for us!!!

my fertility days are from July 6-10, the 10th being my ovulation day. Today is July 8th. We have had sex multiple times already in that time frame, could I be pregnant or does my body have to wait til ovulation day? I am confused. We want a baby so badly.
