some answers to my previoius question ( if a 42 day cycle affects fertility) suggested i track my basal body temperature to see if i do ovulate and perhaps find out how long my luteal phase is .. i have used a ovulation (saliva) kit that is positive for about 4 days … does this mean i ovulate??? or is it meant to be positive for longer then 4 days??

Answer by browneyedgirlI have found those saliva tests to not be accurate. I guess they work for some and not others?

Have you tried using any other method besides the saliva ferning kit?

I’ve been wondering since I don’t really take pills or have some sort of birth control, my boyfriend and I have been having sex for 3 years and I don’t get pregnant.

When we were starting dating, I took birth control pills for 1 month only then after that no birth control method until now.

How will I become pregnant?

Last month, I was delayed for a month and I think 9 days, then some brown spotting occur; on and off.

Is there any chance that I could get pregnant?

Please give me some advice to be fertile.

I was wondering how it makes it so the blood doesn’t leak out? Your moving around all day and then when you go to sleep the cup is slanted how come it doesn’t leak out? Also How do you insert it if your trying to use it to help you conceive? Does anyone have any success stories in using it for this?

Answer by MaryI tried using it as a menstrual cup and didn’t like it. It stayed put and there was no leaking, but it was a giant mess when I tried to change it. The cup may be slanted, but the plastic ring makes a sort of seal. so it does not leak.
