Question by Alana 5/20/09 & Caleb 4/18/10: 9 weeks pregnant… trying not to worry… please read?
So I am 9 weeks pregnant. A little background is that I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in August and got pregnant 2 weeks later. I am so happy and I PROMISE I’m not stressing, but I am still a little worried whenever I think about my little one. And yes there is a difference. ) I’m not freaking out and getting myself all worked up, but I can’t seem to get those, “WHAT IFS” out of my mind.

I know you can have complications at any time during your pregnancy and that most miscarriages happen before 12-14 weeks, but does your risk go down at all when your around 9 weeks? I’m trying sooo hard to be patient and just do everything right, breathe a lot (so I don’t stress), eat healthy, get plenty of sleep, no strenuous work… my first OB appointment . . . → Read More: 9 weeks pregnant… trying not to worry… please read?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive baby #2 since July 2007. It only took us a few months to conceive our son, so obviously, #2 has taken longer then we thought. We have a 2 year old and feel very blessed! I count my days and all that good stuff, but we are welcoming any other tips or advice that anyone could give us to help us to give our son a baby brother or sister. Thank you so much!

Trying to conceive and want to know about health insurance?

Question by : Trying to conceive and want to know about health insurance?
We are going to be trying to conceive soon, and I wanted to know what options I have available to me. I don’t have health insurance right now, and know that a pregnancy will be expensive..so what are my options?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best answer:

Answer by Billie AWell you can try for things like Cobra where you can find plans for as low as $ 85/month. Expensive? VERY our bill for routine prenatal, and postnatal care and delivery, Basic laboratory determinations, and sonograms was $ 4949 plus the additional $ 3000 that the hospital charges. And if you need an epidural or decide to get one, that’s an additional $ 500. I’m covered through work and have Aetna, so I advise you to find a cheap alternative. I only think Cobra cause it’s what my neighbor uses. Just . . . → Read More: Trying to conceive and want to know about health insurance?

I am a little overweight but want to have a baby. I have fertility issues already due to losing an ovary 10 years ago to a nasty cyst. So I only have one ovary and want the best chances of conceiving. I was wondering what is a healthy weight to conceive at and what type of diet modifications you would suggest so that I can start trying to have a baby. I am 100 percent commited to trying anything to get pregnant. Also, anyone else with success stories about conceiving with one ovary?
