Question by stellas_groove_25: Advise on getting pregnant? Trying desperately to conceive.?
I am 30 years old. I have been diagnosed with the HPV virus. I don’t believe its cancerous but its not good either. I got pregnant when i was 26 but I had a miscarriage. I haven’t really been trying to get pregnant until I met my boyfriend. We have been trying for the last 7 months now and no luck. I don’t know what to do. I feel like I will never have kids. Im so jealous of my friends and family cause they get pregnant at the drop of a hat and I can’t. What can I do? I don’t have money for expensive fertility treatments. I’ve wasted so much money on pregnancy tests. All I want is a baby. Please someone give me advise on how to get pregnant.

Question by NYgirl: Could I become pregnant if trying to conceive two days prior to being fertile?
My husband and I are trying to conceive and according to my fertility calendar, I will be fertile tomorrow, tuesday through next sunday or monday, ovulating around this Saturday the 25th. I am aware that sperm can live for about two days so if we ttc yesterday, the 19th, what are the chances that i could become pregnant? Thanks!
Best answer:
Answer by talismanSperm can actually live inside of you for 3-5 days and sometimes as long as 7. If you had sex on the 19th and ovulate on the 25th, the sperm would most likely be dead by then, making them unable to reach the egg.

Question by Kim: How many times should we have sex if trying to conceive?
My husband and I are trying to conceive, it is better to have sex every day when ovulating or every other day. How long do you ovulate? We have been trying for 4 months, last month I started using a ovulation tests and I am now and I am ovulating, now just how many times should I have sex, which way is most effective?
Best answer:
Answer by TTC a 2009 Baby!!Since you are not sure if there is a problem yet, your best bet is to have sex once a day. They say you should try to have sex in the morning (men are more fertile during that time). If you suspect your husband has a low sperm count, it is best to do it every other day. Do not do it more than once a day, since it doesn’t give his body enough time to . . . → Read More: How many times should we have sex if trying to conceive?

Question by mrs.A: trying to get pregnant, tried the day after last period how often after, or good chances there!?
Best answer:
Answer by skydivemommyYou will start ovulating usually 14 days after the first day of your period. If you are in tune with your body, you should notice when this occurs. You will either become really tired for a few days, or have discharge, or something. You temperature will also rise. You will then be “fertile” for approximately 7 days after that. Good luck!

Question by SemperFiMarineWife: Am I pregnant?!!? (trying not to get hopes up!!) help!?
I’ve been having some ‘pregnancy related symptoms’ and I just wanted to see if they or anyone they knew had these problems before they found out there were pregnant.
-I guess the first and main one is that I am about 2 and a half weeks past my usual period start date (and I am always on track within the 28-30 days).
-I have been more fatigued then usually
-This past 5 days I’ve been waking up with that ‘I wanna throw up’ feeling in my throat and sometimes I have it in the evening.
-I’ve had a little bit of mood swings (which made me think I was just late and thought this was PMS)
-I’ve been getting more hungry but that could just be in my head?
-My husband bought me pregnancy tests and got the wrong ones, so the next day I decided to go to the Hospital and get a pregnancy . . . → Read More: Am I pregnant?!!? (trying not to get hopes up!!) help!?

Avoid These Foods If You Are Trying To Conceive
Article by Sheryl Lyon
The path to conception should be a great deal of fun but that is often not the case for many couples who have failed to conceive and are not sure why.
Whether you are just starting your journey to conception or have received the incredibly frustrating diagnosis of unexplained infertility, it is a wise step to evaluate your diet for the impact it can have on your fertility.
Generally speaking, eating for nutrition is a much smarter way to eat than following the latest fad diet. When you are trying to conceive however, you need to examine another piece of the puzzle.
Certain foods, even nutritious ones, can have such a negative impact on your delicate reproductive system that if you are serious about conceiving, you might consider leaving them off your plate for the time being, if not for good.

Question by Haley Adams: How often should we have sex when trying to conceive?
My husband and I have decided to expand our family, and we were wondering what’s a good amount of sex per week when trying to conceive? Currently we are “trying” about 4-5 times a week, but I’ve been considering bumping that up to every day or multiple times every day.
Best answer:
Answer by Mama2be December 2011its not nessecarry to have sex daily or multiple times a day. Every other day is plently. It actually takes about 24 hours for a mans sperm to rebuild anyways.
